It's my time again. Today I did a good work in my solo flight. However, I still have to mind the telecommunication because I replied three times to the instructions that were not for me with my callsign. I think the ATC would be so confused of what the bloody hell I am doing! Keep it up!

After staying in Perth for nearly a month. It is time to move again and Margaret River could be the next stop. This time will do the grape picking in the vineyard. Before leaving Perth, just hanging around and take some photos this afternoon. Enjoy yourselves

Note: This is the car given by the grain company for us to use. However, the horn was suddenly on one morning for 15 minutes!!! Luckily, nobody complained . Finally, we did a small operation on the throat of it......

A little update of my life in Oz. I am now working in a feed factory at night shift. My work is to pour oats into a bag and then load to a container. Actually, the pay is quite good but it is pretty boring as we have to work ceaselessly except having a break. But i am given a car for transportation indeed. That's nice!!! Hope time passes faster and i would be back soon......

Big Update!

It is now a quarter past twelve. I desired to have my lunch break and wished to finish my work right before five thirty two years ago. But now could you guess what I am doing? I am now having my day off from my work and writing my itinerary. It is a pretty nice afternoon with beautiful sunshine and mild wind. The complete picture is so peaceful, relaxing and harmony. So, it is also the moment to update my living.

I have been Kununurra for almost 2 months. This is a small town, with just 6000 people living, locates in the border between Western Australia and Northern Territory. You could hardly find any building which is two-storey high here. The busiest time in this town I could say is the Friday and Saturday night when all people gather in the pub and yearn to get drunk. (It is the norm of Australian life)

Until now, I have worked for three companies. The first one is a melon and pumpkin farm but unfortunately I and my friends got sacked on the first day. We were all very shocked and wondered the reason behind it. In fact, we worked very hard. Anyway, while we were feeling depressed and confused about our living (because I just had 70 dollars in my bank account), we got a phone call from the job agency that we were informed to work in a sandalwood farm in following day.

I had spent a month time in the sandalwood farm. Just for your information, sandalwood is a parasitic plant and it takes 15 years for growth. What a long time! And let you guess how much it worths...... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 the answer is AUD$4000 and the farm owns 160000 trees. How much money is here!!!!! During that month, I gained a lot of experience in dealing with plants such as nursery, fertilizing, planting, weeding, chipping and much more as if underwent a training program. One event has impressed me because one of the worker had mistaken the whole row of sandalwood as a weed during chipping. The result was catastrophic and devastating. The farm so lost AUS$30000!

Generally, the work in this farm was quite easy except you had to withstand the strong sun. But I was appreciated it since my body got a pretty sun-tanned tone freely. I had much enjoyed the work until I was switched to work where it was called the "Dark-Side" because the trees were so high that they blocked the sunshine. Indeed, the work was comparatively much easier than the others as you just have to use a brush to paint some poison, which was called Garlon, on the bottom surface of Leucanna in order to kill it (However, I just read a news thread few days before which was about the Queenland Government deciding to plant 500000 hectares Leucanna so as to boast up the cattle industry ). The chemical was really powerful as the insects would basically die within seconds. Since it was dark and you would imagine what kinds of creatures were living inside - Snakes, big lizards as well as many many spiders. The feeling was so disgusting when you felt a spider which was sneaking around you shoulder.

Now, I am working as a housekeeper in the morning and as a kitchen hand in the evening in a hotel. This experience is so useful to be a "Little man". Haahahahaha...... I am waiting for the start of the mango season here. I am interested in both picking and packing. In fact, it is pretty dangerous to pick mangoes as plenty of juices, which would irritate your skin and cause severe allergy to most Asians, spill out from the branch when it is cut. So, it is time to practice my fake motion. I will probably work in here until the mid of December and then I fly to Melbourne to meet my love.
